The Organizing Committee arranges a conference bus from Krakow to Zakopane. It will depart on May 22nd, 2017, from the Henryk Niewodniczanski Institute of Nuclear Physics, 152 Radzikowskiego Str at 15:00. The route to Zakopane will be continued via Balice Airport, departing at 15:30. The return bus is planned on May 27th, 2017, departing time 14:00. Let us know the time and place of your arrival (and departure) fairly in advance, so the Organizing Committee may arrange for all help you might need in Krakow. If you want to be taken by the conference bus please contact us via e-mail.

DIRECT FLIGHTS:
Krakow airport BALICE is located just 16 km from the city centre, has direct connections with cities such as: Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Chicago, Dortmund, Frankfurt, Cologne-Bonn, Copenhagen, London, Munich, Milan, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Warsaw, Vienna. Main Airlines operating at Balice Airport are LOT, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France, Swiss Air, also cheap flight airlines such as: Germanwings, Sky Europe and Easy Jet.
In order to get to the main Railway Station (Dworzec Glowny) one can use regular rail services to Krakow city center operated by PKP Przewozy Regionalne Sp.z.o.o. Railway Station Travel time: approx. 15 min. Ticket fare: 6,00 PLN. The Kraków-Balice Station is located approx. 200 m from the passenger terminal, you can get there by foot (around 5 min. walk) or take a free shuttle bus service which operates to and from Kraków-Balice Station, this is a 3 min. trip from the airport terminal building.
There is also bus stop located directly at the roundabout, in front of the passenger terminal. Buses of the municipal transport authority (MPK S.A.) of Krakow no. 192 - from Krakowska Szkola Wyzsza, through Railway Station, Plac Matejki, AGH and the Cracovia Hotel 208 - from Nowy Kleparz, through the Miasteczko Studenckie (Students' Town) and Balicka Street (cost aprox. 0.75 Euro one way) Taxi from the airport (cost aprox. 10 Euro one way) takes you to the city centre.

INDIRECT FLIGHTS:
WARSAW OKECIE AIRPORT offers connections with major cities of the World. To reach Krakow one can choose domestic flights or a train connection. The train station is located 10 km from Okecie Airport - bus or taxi transport is available. InterCity or Express trains operate about every 2 hours. Journey time is roughly 3 hours. (cost: approx. 30 Euro one way)

KATOWICE PYRZOWICE AIRPORT is now a base of cheap flights operators such as Wizz Air and Centralwings. From Pyrzowice Airport there are bus connections related to the flight operators to Krakow Bus Station. (cost: approx. 15 Euro one way)
